Ling has been in the field of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine since 2012 and she brings extensive clinical experience from a post graduate internship at the prestigious Tzuchi Hospital in Taipei, Taiwan.
Ling had early exposure to Traditional Chinese Medicine since she was born into a family of third generation of TCM doctors in her family. After completing her Bachler of science degree from UBC, she directly went to study a 5 years doctor of TCM program at the International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (ICTCM). During her studies Ling also had the opportunity to intern for 2 month in Taiwan Hospital; where she learned different treatment methods from various doctors such as special Tuina techniques in traumatology, herbal prescriptions for chronic skin disease, and allergic rhinitis. She also had the privilege to observe more severe cases in CVA where they perform acupuncture for post stroke recovery, and use chinese medicine as a supplement to chemotherapy or radiation therapy for cancer patients.
From 2015-2018, Ling decided to expand her horizon by working as an acupuncturist on board the cruise ships, where she dealt with many chronic conditions such as pain, arthritis, digestive issues, and aging illnesses in seniors.
Now Ling is back on land and would like to apply her skills and expertise to treat all pain conditions, weight loss, facial rejuvenation, psycho-mental disorder, so on. Using several aspects of Traditional Chinese Medicine including Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Remedies, Diet and Lifestyle Recommendations, Ling is able to begin treating your health concerns today!
